LFG Hub Bot (“we”, “our”, or “the Bot”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights when using LFG Hub Bot on Discord.

LFG Hub Bot collects only the minimum data required to provide matchmaking, presence-based recommendations, and analytics.

1.1 Discord User Information

When you interact with the Bot, we may store:

• Discord User ID

• Display name

• Server nickname

This data is provided via Discord’s official API (discord.js).

1.2 User-Provided Profile Information

We may ask users to voluntarily provide additional information used only for matchmaking and filtering, including:

• Age or age range

• Region / timezone

• Gaming platform (e.g. PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Mobile)

• Preferred language(s)

This information is:

• Explicitly provided by the user

• Editable by the user

• Not inferred or enriched from external sources

1.3 Presence & Activity Data

We store Discord presence and activity signals, including outside of direct LFG Hub interactions, such as:

• When a user starts or stops playing a game

• Game or application identifiers exposed by Discord Presence

• Timestamps related to presence changes

This enables:

• Presence-based LFG discovery

• Automatic recommendations

• Real-time matchmaking features

We do not collect any presence data beyond what Discord exposes via its APIs.

1.4 LFG & Co-Play Data

To operate LFG features, we store:

• When a user creates or joins an LFG session

• Which other users participated in the same session (co-play relationships)

• Server and channel identifiers related to LFG activity

2. Data We Do Not Collect

LFG Hub Bot does not collect:

• Message content (public, private, or DMs)

• Voice audio or recordings

• Friends lists

• Real-world location data

• Data from outside Discord’s official APIs

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data solely to:

• Create and manage LFG sessions

• Match users based on preferences and availability

• Enable presence-based LFG recommendations

• Improve Bot functionality and reliability

• Provide aggregated, non-identifiable analytics to server owners

We do not use data for targeted advertising or sell personal data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

Data may be shared only:

• With Discord, as required for bot operation

• When legally required (e.g. lawful requests)

• In aggregated or anonymized form that cannot identify individuals

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide LFG Hub services.

• Presence and activity data may be periodically pruned

• Inactive user data may be deleted

• Aggregated analytics may be retained longer
