Why scheduled groups fill better
A right-now group needs the right player online in the same ten minutes. A group set for Friday can reach everyone who is around before then.
What event bots can't do
Event bots can only invite the server they're in. LFG Hub can open the last slots to relevant players on 256 connected servers. They join your server to play.
The LFG Network is optional, and on by default in quick setup. The organiser can keep any group to the server, and nothing from other servers is posted in your channels.

No recurring series yet. No limit on how many players take each sign-up role. No calendar sync. If you need those, keep your event bot for them and use LFG Hub for game sessions.

- How do I organise a game night on Discord?
- Pick the game and a time with /lfg, members get notified and join in advance, and the voice channel is ready at start time. If seats are still empty, open them to the LFG Network.
- How do I find players for a scheduled game when my server is short?
- Open the group's remaining slots to the LFG Network. Relevant players on other connected servers get a DM and join your server to play. Event bots can only invite the server they're in.
- Do I still need Apollo, Sesh or Raid-Helper?
- For game sessions, no. Set a time up to a week ahead and pick the roles you need. Members get notified and sign up for a role in advance, and the voice channel comes with the group. Open slots can be filled from the LFG Network, which event bots can't do. For recurring events or calendar sync, keep your event bot.
- How far ahead can I schedule?
- Up to a week.
- Does everyone see the time in their own time zone?
- Yes.

- Can I keep a session to my own server?
- Yes. The organiser decides per group whether it opens to the LFG Network.
