These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LFG Hub Bot (“LFG Hub”, “the Bot”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) on Discord. By using the Bot, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Bot.

1. Description of the Service

LFG Hub Bot is a Discord-based service that:

  • Helps users find teammates (“Looking For Group”)

  • Uses presence-based activity to recommend relevant games and players

  • Creates and manages LFG sessions, channels, and matchmaking features

The Bot operates exclusively within Discord and relies on Discord’s APIs.

2. Eligibility

To use LFG Hub Bot, you must:

  • Meet Discord’s minimum age requirement

  • Comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines

  • Have permission to use the Bot in the servers where it is enabled

Server administrators are responsible for authorizing the Bot on their servers.

3. User-Provided Information

You may be asked to voluntarily provide information such as:

  • Age or age range

  • Region / timezone

  • Gaming platform

  • Preferred language(s)

You represent that any information you provide is accurate and up to date.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By using the Bot, you consent to:

  • Collection of Discord user identifiers and display information

  • Presence and activity tracking as exposed by Discord APIs

  • Storage of LFG participation and co-play data

We do not access message content, voice audio, or data outside Discord’s APIs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Bot for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes

  • Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Bot

  • Use the Bot to harass, stalk, or impersonate other users

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Circumvent rate limits, permissions, or safeguards

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for violations.

6. Server Administration & Moderation

  • Server owners and moderators are responsible for how LFG Hub Bot is used within their servers

  • We are not responsible for user behavior, content, or interactions between users

  • We may enforce global restrictions or bans in cases of abuse

7. Availability & Changes

LFG Hub Bot is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features at any time

  • Add, remove, or change functionality without notice

  • Temporarily suspend service for maintenance or technical issues

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Premium Features & Monetization

Certain features may be offered as premium or paid features in the future.

  • Pricing, billing terms, and benefits will be clearly disclosed

  • Payments may be processed via Discord or third-party providers

  • Premium features may change or be discontinued

No refunds are guaranteed unless required by law or explicitly stated.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in LFG Hub Bot, including code, branding, and functionality, are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

LFG Hub Bot is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose

  • Accuracy of matchmaking

  • Availability or reliability

Use the Bot at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of data or service interruptions

  • User interactions or disputes

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you to use the Bot (if any) in the preceding 12 months.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Bot:

  • For violations of these Terms

  • To comply with legal obligations

  • To protect the service or other users

You may stop using the Bot at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the European Union and/or the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
