How do I find a raid fireteam without a clan?

Filter this page by your language and region and look for a raid group with spots open, then join its voice channel in one click. If nothing fits, post your own group from any Destiny 2 server on the network and say whether it is a fresh, sherpa or KWTD run.

Is Destiny 2 crossplay?

Yes, across PC, PlayStation and Xbox, so any group here can take players from each. Use the Platform filter if you want to stay on one.

What do KWTD and sherpa mean in Destiny LFG?

KWTD means know what to do: the group expects everyone to know the encounters already. A sherpa run is the opposite, with an experienced player teaching the mechanics to people doing it for the first time.

How many players do raids, dungeons and Trials need?

Raids take six players, dungeons three, and Trials of Osiris is three-player PvP. Grandmaster Nightfalls are three as well.

Can I find a Trials of Osiris team here?

Yes. Filter by region so your team's connections match, and look for a Trials group, or post one saying what you are going for, such as a first flawless or farming wins.

Is this Destiny 2 LFG free?

Yes. Browsing groups, posting your own and joining a server all cost nothing, and there is no account to create here — the groups run inside Discord servers you join directly.

Can I add my own Destiny 2 server?

Add the LFG Hub bot to your server and set up an LFG channel for Destiny 2. Your groups then reach the whole network, and the server appears in the directory.

Destiny 2 LFG on Discord: find a fireteam that finishes

Most of what is worth doing in Destiny 2 is built for a fireteam you bring yourself. Raids and dungeons have no matchmaking, and the hardest Nightfalls and Trials reward a group that talks. This page lists Destiny 2 fireteams forming right now on Discord servers running LFG Hub. Each one is a voice channel with players already in it, so you can join, say hi and load in, instead of posting in a chat and waiting for replies.

What needs a fireteam

Raids: six players. The main reason Destiny players look for a group, and the one with the least room for a missing callout.
Dungeons: three players. Shorter than a raid, with mechanics that still need everyone on the same page.
Trials of Osiris: three-player PvP. You can queue freelance, but a fireteam on voice is how most flawless runs happen.
Grandmaster Nightfalls: three players, and hard enough that roles and loadouts get agreed before launch.
Everything else, from seasonal activities to Crucible and Gambit, matchmakes, but runs better with people you can hear.

Writing a Destiny 2 LFG post that fills

Say the activity, how many you need, and what kind of run it is. Players skim; the post that answers their three questions at a glance fills first.

The activity and difficulty: the raid or dungeon by name, and whether it is a normal, master or contest run.
How many spots are open: "need 2" beats "LF more".
The kind of run: fresh (first time), sherpa (someone teaches), KWTD (know what to do) or a checkpoint.
Anything else that rules people in or out: mic required, light level, region, language.

Platforms and crossplay

Destiny 2 has crossplay between PC, PlayStation and Xbox, so a fireteam can mix platforms. The Platform filter is still useful when you want to stay on one, or share a voice chat outside Discord. The Region filter matters more than it looks: a fireteam in your own region means better connections and evenings that line up.

Why Discord, when there is an in-game Fireteam Finder

The Fireteam Finder gets you into a group. A Discord voice channel keeps it together: callouts during encounters, a place to regroup between attempts, and a server to find the same people next week. Every group listed here comes with that voice channel, created when the group is and deleted when everyone leaves.
